This DVD is both for you who recently discovered salsa and for you who have been dancing for a while but feel you´ve got weaknesses in your leading- or following techniques or feel insecure with how to move your hips, arms and the rest of the body to the music

The basics are very important both if you are aiming for a career as a professional dancer or if you "only" want to go out and have some fun at salsa clubs

This DVD contain dance technique, all the basic steps and the first turns and patterns. There is a part with exercises that will increase your flexibility which will improve your dance technique. You will also learn the basics of merengue and chachacha

Salsa - Advanced 1 (only in Swedish)

You will learn patterns of turns from both the crossbody style and Cuban/circla/Latin-American style. On all levels we teach steps, patterns of turns and technique that are retrieved from the different salsa styles that exist. For example maybe at one occasion you will be taugt a pattern of turns from one style and the next time you will learn another pattern from another style. You wont learn a mixed style instead you will learn several other styles. In this way you will get a broad repertoire that will work just as well in Sweden as in lets say Latin-America or New York, or where ever you would want to dance :-)
(crossbody = styles danced on a line and cuban = styles where you dance more around eachother)
You will get to learn single steps that will be used when you are not holding on to your partner. We will introduce Rueda De Casino were you dance salsa with many other couples in a circle
Bachata is a hot dance from the Dominican Republic that you will get to try and we also extend you knowledge in Chachacha and Merengue
The very usefull dance technique "sholder up" will be taught Carefully. It is a fundamental technique in salsa, merengue, chachacha, bachata and several other dances
How to lead and how to follow will be taught in the different patterns
You will learn some different musical rhythms that are fun to know and will help you get in to the music more easily
As always we end it with a little "Showtime" in the end :-)
