Johan Sandgren

Johan has taken courses with Robin and Lisa of Salsa Sabrosa Dance School since the autumn 2000 and will dance as long as his body can still move. He started at basic level and quickly understood the benefits of taking multiple basic courses in parallell, multiple training! Johan was really a bad dancer in the beginning according to himself. Practice makes perfect!
Today Johan is checking out a little of everything from Sabrosas courses and usually can be found at the salsaclub Mejeriet, Club Havana in Malmoe, or maybe in the latin club Club Mambo across the bridge to Denmark to meet some funny danish people :-) - check www.salsasverige.se for the current salsa nightclubs in your region

Something Johan is really crazy about, is the joy and energy people share when dancing Rueda De Casino, that is dancing salsa in a circle with one person calling the turns. During some years, he was one of the active leaders of Ruedalund (www.ruedalund.se), which is a group of salsadancers with special interest in practicing Rueda De Casino for fun. Johan has taken courses in rueda with Oli, Robin & Lisa (Husruedan), the rueda of Lotta Richard in Malmoe, and rueda workshops at CubaMeMucho 2006 in Stockholm (www.cubamemucho.com)

Johan is regularly giving private lessons in salsa for small or medium sized groups

He's taken part in shows at: Malmoe festival (2002, 2003, 2004), rueda competetion at Sabor Latino in Denmark (2002), Kulturnatten in Lund (2002, 2004), Show at the Palace nightclub in Kalmar (2002)

Likes to sync his dancing to the music - can really light the fire within!

Arranged a couple of salsa workshops: double salsa (1 man dancing with 2 women) - teacher Rasmus (Malmoe), Spanish for salsapeople - teacher Elisabet (Malmoe)
