Karolina Lundbladh

Karolina started taking lessons in salsa in 2003 at International Dance Academy/Afrimania in Dublin for Joshua Tasia, a.k.a Dr. Rumba.

During the year of 2003 she also regularly attended courses in Ruedo de Casino and cuban salsa.

She participated at the Bundoran Salsa weekend 2003 and the Irish Salsa Congress 2004, where she attended workshops in flamenco, merengue, mambo, ladies styling in salsa etc.

Karolina has been dancing within the Salsa Sabrosa Dance School in Lund and Malmö since the autumn of 2004 and is a member of the dance group Salsa Sabrosa.

Music has always been an interest of Karolina’s. She has been taking piano lessons for 10 years and appeared solo and in ensembles at concerts and competitions. She has also studied music theory for one year. Dancing for her is a new and fun way of expressing herself and she is looking forward to developing her abilities further over the years to come.
